Dr Manuel Carcao (Chair)

The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada

Manuel D. Carcao is a staff paediatric haematologist/oncologist in the Division of Haematology/Oncology and an Associate Professor in the Dept of Paediatrics at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He is also Co-Director of the Comprehensive Care Paediatric Haemophilia Clinic and an Associate Scientist/Clinician Investigator in the hospital’s research institute.


Dr Wing Yen Wong

Biogen

Wing Yen Wong is Vice President of the Hematology/Immunology division of Global Medical at Biogen. Dr Wong joined Biogen in March of 2014 and leads the global medical strategies and activities in hemophilia, hemoglobinopathies, immunology and pulmonary fibrosis, tissue injury and repair. Dr Wong is also Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Southern California (USC) Keck School of Medicine.


Professor Stefan Lethagen

Stefan Lethagen is Vice President of Medical and Clinical Sciences, Haemophilia, at Swedish Orphan Biovitrum, Stockholm, Sweden. Stefan has been appointed Professor in Haemophilia and other Coagulation Disorders at Copenhagen University, Denmark, and is Associate Professor (Docent) in Internal Medicine at Lund University, Sweden.

Guy Young is the Director of the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine.


Professor Cedric Hermans

Saint-Luc University Hospital of the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium

Cedric Hermans is Head of the Division of Haemotology and the Haemostasis and Thrombosis Unit at Saint-Luc University Hospital of the Catholic University of Louvain, Brussels, Belgium. He was appointed Associate Professor at the Medical School of the Catholic University of Louvain in 2003, Clinical Professor in 2009 and Clinical Ordinary Professor in 2012.


Dr Richard Blumberg

Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), USA

Richard S. Blumberg is currently Senior Physician in Medicine and Gastroenterology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) where he leads the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy, is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and co-Director of the Harvard Digestive Diseases Center. In addition, Dr Blumberg serves on the Executive Advisory Committee of the Department of Medicine and is the Chair of the Brigham Research Institute at BWH.
